Job Summary:
We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to process DMV transactions, answer complex inquiries, and ensure compliance with state regulations. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to provide seamless service to the public.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers face-to-face and via phone to assist with license renewals, vehicle registrations, and title transfers.
- Process payments accurately using various financial transaction systems.
- Verify documentation and ensure all DMV requirements are met before approving transactions.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to supervisors in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and customer interactions.
- Stay updated on changes in state motor vehicle laws and regulations.
- Assist in training new staff members on standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, public service, or administrative support.
- Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
