Responsibilities
- Maintain and beautify park grounds, including mowing, edging, trimming, and landscaping maintenance.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of park facilities, restrooms, and recreational areas.
- Assist in the set-up and breakdown of park facilities for community events, sports leagues, and concerts.
- Operate and maintain light landscaping and park equipment (mowers, trimmers, tractors).
- Monitor park activities to ensure compliance with park rules and regulations.
- Remove debris, litter, and hazards from trails and public spaces.
- Collaborate with park supervisors and other staff to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools, equipment, and maintenance techniques.
- Strong commitment to customer service and community engagement.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as required.
