Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist in infrastructure maintenance (roads, drainage systems, public facilities)
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, compactors)
- Collaborate with engineering teams on project implementation
- Perform site preparation and cleanup activities
- Document work progress and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/public works experience
- Valid California driver's license
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Pass pre-employment background check and physical
- Class B CDL preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
