Responsibilities
- Perform heavy equipment operation (excavators, bulldozers, graders) for infrastructure projects
- Execute precise concrete work including pouring, finishing, and form setup
- Install and maintain underground utilities (water, sewer, storm drainage)
- Conduct daily site inspections and safety compliance checks
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, compactors) with precision
- Collaborate with engineering teams on project specifications
- Manage material inventory and equipment maintenance schedules
Qualifications
- 3+ years of public works or heavy construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery and power tools
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and safety protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent with technical certifications preferred
