Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, rollers) with precision
- Perform manual labor including trenching, backfilling, and material handling
- Install and maintain drainage systems, curbs, and sidewalks
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with engineers and skilled trades on complex projects
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years heavy equipment operation experience
- Valid California Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
