Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages efficiently along assigned routes using postal vehicles
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail for daily delivery operations
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points and post offices
- Operate and maintain delivery vehicles safely and in compliance with regulations
- Complete delivery manifests and administrative documentation accurately
- Adapt to weather conditions and varying terrain while maintaining delivery standards
- Collaborate with postal staff to optimize delivery efficiency
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for route management systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
