Responsibilities
- Maintain parks, grounds, athletic facilities, and recreational areas to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Perform general landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and irrigation maintenance.
- Monitor and report on park equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working order.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of recreational programs, sports leagues, and community events.
- Interact with park patrons to answer inquiries and resolve minor issues.
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear while operating machinery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Ability to perform physical labor including walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools, lawn care equipment, and maintenance procedures.
- Strong commitment to customer service and working with the public.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License preferred.
