Job Overview:

Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming federal applications and claims with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct preliminary screenings of documents to ensure eligibility requirements are met.
- Update and maintain complex federal databases and case files in strict accordance with privacy laws.
- Communicate effectively with veterans, external agencies, and internal stakeholders to resolve inquiries.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on case status and departmental performance metrics.
- Assist in the training of new staff members on federal procedures and software systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and security clearance requirements.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a Federal Security Clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, case management, or a related federal capacity.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and federal case management software.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Organization: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Background: Clean criminal record and ability to pass a government background investigation.
