Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal, state, and local regulatory compliance across county departments
- Conduct compliance audits and prepare detailed inspection reports
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for non-compliance issues
- Coordinate with legal counsel to resolve regulatory disputes
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation and digital records
- Train staff on updated policies and procedural changes
- Represent the county in regulatory hearings and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of compliance/regulatory experience in government or regulated industry
- Valid Nevada driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with regulatory databases and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) and federal CFRs
