Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labor duties, including digging, cleaning, and preparing construction sites.
- Operate and maintain light to medium equipment, such as dump trucks, skid steers, and jackhammers under supervision.
- Assist with road maintenance, pothole repair, and traffic control signage.
- Participate in snow and ice removal operations during severe winter weather.
- Load and unload construction materials and supplies from delivery trucks and storage areas.
- Ensure all work zones are kept clean, safe, and organized in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with crew leaders and other tradespeople to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Georgia Class C Driver’s License required.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and equipment operation is a plus but not required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
