Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along assigned routes using postal vehicles
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequence
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic laws
- Interact professionally with customers during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required paperwork
- Report any delivery issues or customer concerns to supervisors
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report problems
Qualifications
- Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in various weather
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
