Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement secure information systems and network infrastructure to support agency missions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure 99.9% system uptime.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement security controls to protect sensitive federal data.
- Provide technical support and training to internal staff on new software applications and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve operational efficiency.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate system logs and configuration records.
- Participate in emergency response initiatives and maintain readiness for potential system outages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- At least 2 years of specialized experience in network administration, system analysis, or IT support.
- Experience with federal information systems security requirements (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
