Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Develop incident response protocols for cybersecurity threats
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on IT modernization initiatives
- Ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA security standards
- Provide technical guidance to junior IT staff
- Manage cloud migration projects using AWS/Azure platforms
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years experience in network administration or cybersecurity
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Cisco networking
- Experience with federal IT security frameworks (NIST SP 800-53)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
