Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain secure network infrastructure for federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response protocols for cyber threats
- Manage identity access control systems (IAM) and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Monitor and analyze security logs using SIEM tools
- Document security policies and procedures
- Provide technical guidance to junior IT staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with federal compliance standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
