Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines for federal applications.
- Implement and manage robust security protocols to ensure compliance with federal regulations (e.g., FedRAMP) and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and resolve complex system issues efficiently.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning to optimize operational efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to junior staff members.
- Document system architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures to ensure knowledge continuity.
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response efforts to maintain system availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in systems administration, DevOps engineering, or cloud computing.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with federal IT frameworks and government contracting regulations.
