Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud systems
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex software and hardware issues across city departments
- Develop cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve municipal service delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration and process optimization
- Document IT procedures and create training materials for staff
- Manage vendor relationships and technology procurement processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive IT experience in government or regulated industry
- Expert knowledge of network infrastructure (Cisco, VMware, Active Directory)
- Certification in cybersecurity (CISSP, Security+) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Proven experience with project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Ohio driver's license required
