Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and maintain compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and other federal security standards.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and system audits.
- Provide technical guidance and training to federal personnel and junior staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy IT systems.
- Document all technical procedures and maintain accurate system logs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or Top Secret if applicable).
- 5+ years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cybersecurity frameworks, and disaster recovery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government travel endorsement (if required).
