Responsibilities
- System Administration: Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of federal IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
- Cybersecurity: Implement and monitor advanced security protocols to protect sensitive government data against evolving cyber threats.
- Project Management: Lead IT modernization initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget using Agile methodologies.
- Technical Support: Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support to internal stakeholders, resolving complex hardware and software issues.
- Compliance: Ensure all IT activities align with federal regulations, including FISMA, NIST, and OMB guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Clearance: Active Top Secret Security Clearance required for this position.
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in federal IT systems administration or cybersecurity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Certifications: ITIL Foundation certification or CompTIA Security+ is highly preferred.
