Responsibilities
- Lead System Design: Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of complex IT systems and software solutions for state agencies.
- Requirements Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Project Management: Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with government officials, vendors, and internal teams to align IT strategies with organizational goals.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all systems adhere to federal, state, and local regulations regarding data security and privacy (e.g., FISMA, HIPAA).
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to minimize system downtime and maximize productivity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems analysis, with at least 2 years in a government or public sector environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization technologies, and enterprise software (e.g., ServiceNow, Oracle, SAP).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of ITIL, Agile, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances and pass background investigations.
