Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize electronic health record (EHR) systems for 50K+ veterans
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive veteran data
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for clinical and administrative systems
- Lead infrastructure upgrades and disaster recovery initiatives
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline digital workflows
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and federal IT regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal IT systems (VA DoD preferred)
- Active Security+ CE certification (or obtain within 90 days)
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 administration
- Experience with Epic EHR or similar healthcare IT platforms
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal background clearance
