Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, developers, and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against milestones.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating blockers to senior leadership when necessary.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and provide clear, concise updates to executive stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, security standards, and agency policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with 3+ years specifically in government or large-scale enterprise environments.
- PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Expert knowledge of MS Project, Jira, or similar tracking tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
