Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT projects, ensuring alignment with state strategic goals.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, stakeholders, and vendors, to ensure project success.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timeline adherence while mitigating risks.
- Ensure strict compliance with state procurement regulations, IT policies, and security standards.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, providing regular updates and managing expectations effectively.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT project management, preferably within the public sector or government.
- Professional Project Management (PMP) or Agile certification (PMI-ACP, Scrum Master) is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, and Agile software.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and handling complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
