Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant cybersecurity frameworks across federal systems
- Conduct real-time threat monitoring and incident response for classified networks
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Develop security policies and procedures for emerging technologies
- Coordinate with federal agencies on joint security operations
- Train personnel on cybersecurity best practices and protocols
- Manage security tool deployments including SIEM and encryption systems
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in federal IT security compliance
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
- Expertise in FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, and RMF frameworks
- Experience with incident response (IR) and forensic investigations
- Proficient in security automation tools (Splunk, Qualys, Tenable)
- Ability to obtain DHS suitability determination
