Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and report on network security events and potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and maintain security clearances and ensure compliance with NISPOM and FedRAMP standards.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures across federal systems.
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with incident response teams to mitigate risks.
- Prepare and present security posture reports to stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is required.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in federal information systems security.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GSEC preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
