About the Role:
In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of federal IT systems, ensuring compliance with stringent government standards (NIST, FISMA) while driving technical innovation. Our team values security, reliability, and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal IT infrastructure and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and compliance audits for federal clients.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network outages and system failures with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy secure software solutions and applications.
- Document technical architecture, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and incident reports.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance on best practices for federal data security.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in federal contracting or IT support roles.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or GSEC.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and enterprise networking protocols.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and federal project management tools.
