Responsibilities
- System Analysis & Development: Analyze user needs and design, develop, and test complex IT solutions to meet mission requirements.
- Network & Infrastructure Support: Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive federal data and ensure compliance with IT security policies.
- Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and operational procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify technical requirements and resolve complex issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Experience: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) performing systems analysis and design.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python), database management (SQL), and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Certifications: Active CompTIA Security+ or higher certification is preferred.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
