Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain server infrastructure and network systems for state operations.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and perform routine maintenance.
- Enforce robust cybersecurity protocols and data privacy compliance in accordance with state regulations.
- Provide tier-3 technical support and guidance to end-users across the Jacksonville district.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade hardware and software systems.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in system administration within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening (required for state employment).
