Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis to identify potential security weaknesses.
- Develop, document, and implement security policies and procedures in compliance with federal regulations.
- Respond to and investigate cybersecurity incidents, including data breaches and system intrusions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with DoD directives and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, network administration, or a related field.
- Certification such as Security+ or CISSP is highly preferred.
- Active Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Strong knowledge of federal security frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
