Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and mitigate cybersecurity threats.
- Implement and maintain security controls in accordance with federal standards (NIST, FISMA).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents and system breaches.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security policies and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity of federal systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information systems.
- Active Top Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Experience with CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal IT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
