Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end analysis, design, and implementation of IT systems for federal and state agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsâincluding developers, project managers, and subject matter expertsâto define system requirements and architecture.
- Conduct thorough system testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure data integrity and compliance with strict government standards (e.g., FISMA, OMB).
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams, process flows, and user manuals for executive stakeholders.
- Maintain a deep understanding of evolving federal regulations and best practices for cybersecurity and data privacy.
- Train and mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis or software development within the public sector or a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java, with experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Deep knowledge of government IT frameworks, procurement processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of stakeholder management.
