Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of federal IT systems and hardware.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary patches or updates.
- Support cybersecurity compliance by adhering to federal security protocols and conducting basic vulnerability assessments.
- Document technical procedures, create user guides, and maintain accurate system records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on new software applications and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP), hardware troubleshooting, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Security: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Reliability: Must pass a background investigation and drug test.
