Responsibilities
- Manage, secure, and maintain federal information systems and networks in compliance with strict government regulations.
- Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for federal personnel across multiple departments.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to protect sensitive federal data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new IT infrastructure and software solutions.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports accurately and timely.
- Train junior staff and federal employees on best practices for cybersecurity and IT operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP preferred.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Strong experience with network protocols, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and system administration.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with senior leadership and technical teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven federal environment.
