Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the state-wide network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot hardware and software solutions for state agencies.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting to internal staff and external partners.
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with project managers to implement new IT initiatives and upgrades.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate system records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in systems administration or IT support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Familiarity with government IT standards and compliance regulations is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Must be eligible to pass a background check and obtain necessary government security clearances.
