Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive federal data.
- Configure and secure network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Provide technical support and training to federal staff and contractors.
- Conduct regular system audits and prepare detailed technical reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with federal IT systems and security clearances is highly preferred.
- Certification in CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft MCSA is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced government environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required for federal employment.
