Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage and maintain federal servers, databases, and network infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Cybersecurity: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive government data from cyber threats.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for internal staff and external stakeholders.
- Project Management: Oversee software deployment and hardware upgrades in compliance with federal regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical records and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Training: Conduct training sessions for junior staff and users on new technologies and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration or network engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux, Windows Server, Python, and SQL.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting to senior leadership.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing federal environment.
