Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for government employees and the public.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data.
- Assist in the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud platforms.
- Conduct regular data backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with state agencies to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related government role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software.
- Familiarity with federal and state compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
