Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of complex IT systems and network infrastructure.
- Manage cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive federal data and ensure compliance with FISMA regulations.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development and deployment of software solutions and applications.
- Conduct system analysis to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend technical improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff members.
- Prepare and present technical reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure all IT projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience, including at least 2 years in a federal or similar regulated environment.
- Active Public Trust security clearance is required.
- Technical proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
