Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system development and enhancement.
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and implement timely solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and security compliance across all state government systems.
- Conduct regular system performance reviews and recommend optimizations for improved efficiency.
- Provide technical mentorship and training to junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT support.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, and JavaScript is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced government environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations.
