Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems for county departments.
- Maintain and monitor network infrastructure to ensure high availability and security.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to internal staff and citizens via ticketing systems.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate inventory records.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Valid CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
