Responsibilities
- Network Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of local and wide area network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure.
- Cybersecurity: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect federal systems and data integrity from cyber threats.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software technical issues for internal staff and clients.
- System Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and software licensing across the organization.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, network diagrams, and incident reports.
- Project Support: Assist in the deployment of new IT systems and upgrades as required by agency directives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: Active CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent IT certifications are highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional IT experience in a federal or similar complex environment.
- Clearance: Must be eligible for or possess a Secret Security Clearance.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud technologies (Azure/AWS).
- Communication: Strong ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
