Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across various city departments.
- Manage and maintain the Active Directory environment, ensuring user access security and compliance.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot workstations, printers, and mobile devices (iOS/Android).
- Respond to help desk tickets and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with network administrators to maintain the integrity of the city's internal network.
- Assist in the deployment of new IT infrastructure and software updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware components.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, during system maintenance windows.
