Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues for government employees.
- Manage and maintain the Service Desk ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of all user requests.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform preventive maintenance to ensure data integrity and system security.
- Collaborate with network administrators to deploy updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Train staff on new software applications and government compliance protocols.
- Document all technical procedures, incidents, and resolutions in accordance with ITIL best practices.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or CCNA are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and VPN technologies.
- Experience working in a regulated or government environment is a major plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical staff.
