The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance to state employees, ensuring seamless operations across our enterprise systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and maintaining a secure IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols within Active Directory.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, printers, and mobile devices.
- Document technical incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement network improvements and security patches.
- Assist in the migration and deployment of new software applications.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional IT support experience.
- Proficient in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and networking fundamentals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a TN Department of Safety background check.
