Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 Technical Support: Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues for federal clients with minimal supervision.
- Manage Network Infrastructure: Configure, maintain, and monitor network devices and security protocols to ensure compliance.
- Ensure Data Security: Implement and enforce federal security standards (NIST, FISMA) to protect sensitive information.
- User Support & Training: Assist federal employees with technical queries and provide training on new systems.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine backups, patch management, and system updates to prevent downtime.
- Incident Response: Lead the response to system outages and security incidents according to established protocols.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and willing to undergo a background investigation.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration within a federal environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and VPN technologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
