Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the City's internal network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and end-user issues.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal IT regulations and security standards.
- Configure and deploy new workstations, printers, and mobile devices across multiple departments.
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to implement IT solutions.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT systems administration or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with network security protocols and VPN configurations.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
