Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot server infrastructure, including Windows and Linux environments.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive maintenance to ensure 99.9% uptime for state applications.
- Configure and manage network devices, including firewalls, switches, and routers, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement IT upgrades and migrations.
- Ensure strict adherence to state security policies, data privacy regulations, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, network diagrams, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Server 2016/2019 and Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, including firewall configuration and endpoint protection.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
