Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot complex IT infrastructure across multiple government sites and remote locations.
- Implement and monitor stringent cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data and federal assets.
- Configure, maintain, and patch servers, firewalls, and network hardware using industry-standard tools.
- Provide expert-level technical support, troubleshooting, and training to agency staff and stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with federal IT standards, security regulations, and agency policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable IT solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems administration, network engineering, or IT support.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
