Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues to end-users.
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization environments (VMware).
- Implement and maintain critical cybersecurity protocols and access controls.
- Conduct system audits, performance monitoring, and regular backup verification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement IT solutions that improve efficiency.
- Document technical procedures and maintain detailed inventory records of IT assets.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Experience with network troubleshooting, TCP/IP, and hardware maintenance.
- Familiarity with government compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA) is a plus.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ are highly desirable.
