Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain server infrastructure and network systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and implement necessary patches and updates.
- Ensure strict compliance with state security protocols, data privacy laws, and IT governance standards.
- Provide technical support and training to staff regarding hardware, software, and network operations.
- Conduct regular system audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT solutions with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or MCSA are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in server administration, network configuration, and Windows/Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, virtualization, and cloud technologies (Azure/AWS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various state facilities if required.
