Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications and databases to support city operations.
- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure 99.9% uptime for critical services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize infrastructure efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and department users.
- Document technical processes, procedures, and system configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent years of experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT support.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL, Oracle).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible for government security clearance.
